yeahhhh. i put together this playlist with demi's old and new songs and jonas and a bunch of people and it's so fun! so far it played albl songs and dont' forget songs haha :)
anyways today it's really rainy and cold and gross out. i mean dont' get me wrong i like the rain, but only in the summer when it's really hot out and the rain makes it a nice day you know. but rain+cold= potential snow. for example...i heard it snowed at my house today.
umm it's october 15th it reallllllllyyy should not be snowing.
i mean i love snow just as much as the next person but snow in october is bad. i mean that means it's going to snow from october until MARCH that's like six months of FREEZING and walking to class.
sigh. but hey at least we know it's actually going to snow this winter more than just like twice. haha.

so you know i woke up today and i thought someone like played a joke on me, i mean it was SO dark and i was like it's not really time for me to get up, then i looked at my phone and i was like, um yeah it's really time for me to get up, then i felt sad. UNTIL i remembered that tomorrow is friday and i get to sleep in :) then i somehow almost convinced myself that i dont' have class tomorrow, but uh i do haha. idk what i was thinking but you know whatevs :)
then i headed to school, had my second greek exam of the semester today, and well i was kind of freaking out, i mean the extra help helped (who would have thought hahahah!) but i wasn't sure what he wanted us to really know for the test i mean vocab is a duh, but i have that down, i basicallly do the flash cards every week at least twice... i know i'm sad haha.
but it was the definite articles and noun and adjective endings that was really freaking me out, then we had our practice test yesterday and basically he told us we only needed to know the definite article endings.
so i studied those like crazy and today on the test i remembered all of them :) and i knew all the vocab words and i was like yayyyyyyyyyy. then we had to translate about ten sentences and i thought i did really well on them. so i left feeling pretty confident :)
then i went to Jesus and Moral Life class and wanted to cry... found out what we need to do for the midterm. hahah
guess what
AT THE MOST SEVEN PAGES and he expects seven pages basically and he gave six essays to choose from and we have all of these expectations. oh and it's CLOSED book/notes. yeah seven pages from memory.
i was like. *jaw drop*
so i'm kind of freaking out about it right now i mean i can obviously study for it since i know exactly the questions he wants us to answer and i can do like an outline and study that like a crazy person before hand. i mean i guess i could actually write a fake essay then do my legit essay without notes or anything. hmm.
so yeah i'm going to cry. but i have until next wednesday at 4 pm to get it to his mailbox so i think this weekend i'm going to work on it and work on my philosophy essay. sigh. oh snap and i should work on my greek essay. woah essay overload. so midterm is my absolute first priority though.
so i came back to my apartment and had lunch then headed to work! i have to use these GINORMOUS scissors to cut everything because that's all they have in the copy room. seriously the scissors are bigger than an 8 by 11 paper. it's kind of ridiculous lol. i almost feel like i should bring my own scissors so i can at least cut things more easily. ahha
so after work i went and did my time card at school and i realllllllyyy hope that it's right!
then i was checking my email and my Greek teacher emailed me to tell me this:
"Hi Sam,
You submitted an outstanding paper today!! Highest grade in the class. Go woman!
Have a rewarding weekend. I'll see you Monday in class.

haha heck yes man. i got the highest grade in the class :)
and no one got less than a B- how great is that?! i'm so excited! haha except i laughed hysterically when i read "Go woman!" i was like really? ahhaha :) he's so awesome.
so i was chilling in my room when my friend texts me and asks me if anyone told me when dinner was (which happened to be exactly at that time) i was like uh no. and she wasl ike GET HERE NOW. i was like uh haha i mean it takes me like ten minutes to get there. only because i have to get to my car drive there then walk across campus. silly people haha. it's okay they forget me like everyday hahah. i'm used to it. and it's not that important.
eww i just realized i ate alot today.

so yeah i'm going to shower and watch P.S. I Love You, unless my roomies come back with friends in which case i can't do that. especially if it's dan...

JONAS Concert 7/24/09

Paid for parking again.
so fun NOT.
Parked in B1 i believe.
Ate a banana. called my mom.
almost cried.
good times. goodtimes.
saw the Jonas bus that they had taken to the road dogs game~ saw Mrs. Jonas she is the most adorable person on the planet.
Walked around. asked the guy by the BK Apple Fries what he was handing out. he was mean. :(
didn't get apple fries again. :(
went to the verizon bus they had soundcheck passes. super cool.
apparently they had extras too bad i wasn't there when they handed them out.
went and waited to do the honor roll to meet HS.
sadly my team lost :(
all in all up to that point my day had been going way down hill. sad.sad.sad.
went inside the area where they scanned your ticket again. tried to win something from some radio station with their spinning wheel thing. didn't win. seriously i lost by one number.
went inside the place. Got free stuff from Q102 :)
it was a FAME poster, body glitter that has sun tan lotion in IT! so cool! and stickers. they also had spinny wheel thing but that wasn't ready to be played until six. we chilled for a bit. about that time it was pry like 5:00 ish we got some Mozarella sticks. those always make me happy. love love love.

at 6 went back to play the spinny wheel thing at Q102. got a pocket mirror. score.
then went to find our seats.
we were both in section 107. i was row 16, ali has row 25 and we both had seat 17. weird right.
anyways chilled in my seat alone for a bit, got cotton candy. then i decided to go hang out with ali at her seat. so i did. went back to my seat until hs came out. then went up and danced like a crazy person during their set did the honor roll. true fact: it's better to do the honor roll with someone who knows it :)
true fact: it's better to attend concerts with people and sit near them and rock out togehter
haha so there was this guy and girl in front of ali and when we rocked the honor roll the guy gave me the weirdest look of my life. but hey whatevs. hahah
then the Wonder Girls came out, those same people booed them. it was so rude. we did the Nobody dance it was majorly fun.
then went back to my seat for jordin. chilled.
then JB came out :)
went up with Ali for half of their set super fun
Nick's Black Keys/ALBL speech was amazing he told us his whole story. i have it on video going to get it on youtube when i can figure out how to make it fit. since it's over 10 minutes in total with all the screaming it was 14 minutesish. i have it down to like 10:40 so depressing i can't even cut anything else out. so i'm going to have to figure it out.
umm Nick landed his flips for both of my concerts which is always good :)
at one point Nick was on the drums and Joe takes the drumsticks and hits the drums for fun but he apparently accidentally hit Nick. now i heard that lately Nick has been feeling down with his blood sugar and such so Ali and I aren't sure if this was just a ploy for Nick to check his blood sugar, or if Joe actually hit him. Because some other ppl who were there said that Joe was like asking Nick on the side if he was okay and Nick was laughing at him telling him he was fine. I mean normally Joe and kevin only read signs if Nick is checking his blood sugar, and well they took a good few minutes to read signs... interesting right?
anyways so
we went down to my seat during Live to Party and stayed there. we ALMOST got foamed. but Joe's foam thing turned off right at where i was standing. i was like seriously. i wanted to get foamed. lol
rocked out the rest of the concert.
it was over we went and found the wonder girls met them again :)
they are SOOOO adorable
that time we all did a pose it was SO fun lol they are so cool for being Asian superstars.
we left this time no running was necessary. got to the car we decided to not bother with waiting in the line of traffic so we chilled in my car forl ike 45 minutes. some crazy psycho fans played tag around my car. they saw a limo at one point and screamed and ran towards it. it was highly entertaining and scary. finally we left and we blasted Demi the whole time. it was great.

even though bertha ALMOST made me go the wrong way. i'm telling you she hates me.
and arrived home at like 1 or something :)
and that was the end of the awesomest time ever.
so sad it's over :)

Alright so here's my blog, the best of 2008.
okay here we go i think i'll go by months
January:
-Started my second semester of college, which means i didn't fail out of the first semester! or die from homework overload! lol so that's a good thing!
-I heard about the When You Look Me In The Eyes Tour
-I heard about Camp Rock
-And I heard about the Jonas Brothers next CD, which ended up being A Little Bit Longer :)
-started Sociology, where i had this really odd dude for a teacher, he was from Africa and i couldn't really ever understand anythign he was talking about, which made for a pretty epic class lol.
-Started my Spanish class, with 8 people in it including me. excluding the teacher lol. i know it seems weird that this would be a good thing but the class was really easy even though it was the highest spanish class they had.
February:
-Hannah Montana 3-D Concert- this is where my best friend and I really connected. even though we didn't sit together lol, but it's really what brought us closer. i mean with all those crazy screaming teenies, it's hard to not bond lol.
-Bought tickets for my FIRST EVER JONAS CONCERT <3 great day very great day lol.
-Wings Game. man i seriously love those games they make my month so much greater all the fights and hot lacrosse men. ;) (and they won! heehee)
-I kind of really fell in love with Jonas like 100 times more, even though i had liked them since May '07 lol
-Went to see Step Up 2:The streets. lol i love that movie it's so sarcastic and hilarious.
March:
-Well this whole month can be summed up with
FIRST JONAS CONCERT EVER. it was amazing. lol. Rooney and Valora opened for them which was really cool, and even though we weren't that close it was still awesome. and i basically died the whole concert lol. I mean when they sang Australia instead of saying Australia they said Pennsylvania. and i was like i think this is the greatest place on earth right now. lol
-Bought tickets for Hershey, and Allentown burnin' up tour :)
-Preordered ALBL. yeah..
April:
-Got tickets to the Q Concert 2008.
-Camp Rock music video premiered lol
-My second, second cousin was born.. Bryleigh. lol
May:
-I decided i hated the boys that are the scumbag of the earth. lol
-Finished my first year of College !
-Q Concert 2008- awesome. so many awesome artists there. and then there was Leona Lewis.haha and B and I sort of TOTALLY SPOTTED KEVIN! woo! and we saw Jack Lawless too on the other side of the street lol. and Garbo totally played wiht our minds by looking at the fence pretending to come over and coming over but not talking to us. and their escalades. we creeped by accident thats how good we are lol. and Nick in his little bow tie. awwws. totally adding a picture of that here. lol

-Started a countdown for Hershey and Allentown (yes i am that lame lol)
-Took my bestie to Rice's for the first time. she introduced her family and now they go more than i do lol. it's cool though.

June:
-Met Josh Duhamel and got his autograph ON MY BIRTHDAY :)

go shopping without encountering things that make me think of Jonas or Demi

FOR EXAMPLE
i was at Target today.. and i was looking at the winter jackets which were right in the front of the Juniors section. and i see this jacket.


except it didnt have that fake fur around the neck..
but who did i think of the minute i saw that jacket?
why yes Nick Jonas during A Little Bit Longer at concerts.
i was just standing there reminiscing this summer at Hershey and A-town.

and i could also smell the jacket, which smelled really good even though i was two feet away, it smelled like fake leather, but the good kind that reminds you of real leather... does that even make sense? lol

then i was looking at the accessories. i.e. hats, scarves, bags, so i come across the hats and i see these bowler hats, and fedoras, and i was like DEMI LOVATO right there. it was like there was a flashing light with her name on it. Seriously the one hat i could have sworn i remember seeing her wear it for a photo shoot or something. but if i go and try to find a picture with her wearing that hat.. it would take awhile lol.

Then lastly i was in the movie section just looking at some movies and i walk by a movie and all i see is the ending. bug. and i smiled and started to hum lovebug to myself haha even though the movie was called Junebug.
So as you can see i clearly cannot go shopping without finding things by accident that remind me of Jonas or Demi.

Okay so this is my review for Jonas Brothers A Little Bit Longer

1. BB Good- Alright first of all, this song is awesome, i love the random parts when Joe is talking pretty much because it makes me feel like I am having a conversation with him, what else i do talk back..haha, i also really like the screams it's just soooooo i dont' even know just great. lol. And i love the lyrics like you gotta be good to him, and then he'll be good back. yeah sounds right to me.. also the end part when he talks his my ringtone for when i get texts..heehee

2. Burnin' Up- First single they released, and when it first came out it was oddly addicting, i listened to it straight for like two weeks. seriously i like couldn't get enough of it. and i wouldn't listen to any other songs. ahha. Also i love the lyrics again, high heels...red dress, gotta catch my breath. it's just great hah ! and then bam BIG ROB comes out and raps. it is just like icing on top of the cake! i like screamed when i heard him come in. and if you listen carefully you can hear Kevin like responding to Big Rob in those parts, so that's mad awesome, and i love the music video..."I can't grow a mustache" bahahhaha

3. Shelf- Originally it was called Don't Take My Heart and Put It On A Shelf, but obviously they thought the name was tooo long. .i would have just abbreviated it as DTMHPUIOAS. yup. looks awesome. haha. anyways. i like it. not my favorite ever on here but i like it. i mean they are asking us to not take their hearts and put them on a shelf, when in reality we should ask them to not do that. i mean come on now they pry have like billions of girls hearts on shelfs., or shelves, yeah. haha. so it's pretty much the person telling the other person that they are tired of having their heart on the shelf, so they are moving on. yeah it's good.

4. One Man Show- okay LOVE this song. It's pretty much my virtual theme song, haha. well on days when people make me angry. "i'm a one man show, i don't need no one, i'll be fine alone. oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, you can call me but i won't pick up my phone, cause i'm a one man show." it's like bam take that i don't need you. i'll be fine by myself yeah. i can do what i want. so stick that in your juice box and suck it! (sorry i really like that line and i always wanted to use it) basically telling your ex that you dont need them and you have no problems moving on. No biggie. lol Love it.

5. Lovebug- LOVE LOVE LOVE this song. this whole entire song is just amazing and awesome, and the random parts when they talk on the CD make my LIFE. haha especially "NO way JOHN TAYLOR!" and "I dropped my pencil!" yeah those rock. so i totally made the end part my ringtone and my mom totally like heard it wrong and she was all "sam your not that mean" and i was like "uh what are you talking about he says "Get off that cake!" yeah so idk what she thought he said ahha. yup but this song. kicks butt.

6. Tonight- So Garbs totally helped co-write this song! :) woot woot GARBO! yeah i think that rocks. Anyways i love this song too. so your in a fight with your significant other and it's obvious to both of you that you won't be working it out tonight. so you just say goodbye til the next day. It's good it makes sense. and i love it cause Garbo cowrote it..oh did i say that already.. yeah he did! :) I also really like the part at the like two minute mark when they are like harmonizing kind of and just singing we won't work this out tonight. it's just amazing!

7. Can't Have You- yeah idk about this song. like i like it but it's kind of sad in a way. they don't want to go to sleep because they don't know if they will get up, how sad is that :( all because they want that girl. it's just sad. yeah i don't know what else to say about this song, except when they talked about it on the video on the CD-VU part it somehow had something to do with like some random movie. i think Invasion.. so that's random lol.

8. Video Girl- hah now this song is Great. i love this one too. especially the beginning "OMG did you hear I'm dating a Jonas Brother it's sooooooooooooooooooo hawt" def love saying that part in the voice and all.! haha. and also love the snaps in the beginning i always want to snap along, unfort i usually am listening to it while i am trying to drive so in reality this song could be a hazard to my health! haha. yeah pretty much telling the person to back off cause they aren't about to be another victim of a fake person who your mom doesn't like and your friends, and her friends? don't really like. now that's sad man. lol but i love it. you should totally see them perform this in concert. especially watch Kevin, i can honestly say this song is the one time i get like scared of him, he gets very angry and emotional too bad he doesn't get to sing it out. but hey his guitar playing especially kicks butt !

9. Pushin' Me Away- Hello, most played song on my i-pod.. yup. it's should be around 300 but my ipod somehow messed it up so it says 260 but i know it's lying but hey what can you do. lol. it's kind of like an angry ballad, i find it especially helpful to play incredibly loud and think of the person who is pissing you off and like sing at the top of your lungs, it's kind of therapeutic, but by far my favorite part of the song comes at 2:07 yeah the little "aahhhhhhhhhhh" is just adorable and i likeeeeeeeeeee itttt alot!! ;)

10. Sorry- so i gotta admit when i first heard this song, i just didn't like it, first of all Nick sounds like he is feeling a bit under the weather. idk he sounds like he had a cold when he was singing. anyways the more i listened to this song i decided that i actually liked it. it's like your sorry for breaking all the promises that you weren't around to keep and you want another chance but you know it's too late. it just makes sense. and i really like the music it's really intriguing. "i'm sorryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy for breaking all the promises that i wasn't around to keep, sorryyyyyyyyy this time is the last time i will ever beg you to stay, but your already on your way..." :)

11. Got Me Going Crazy- Another song that i wasn't so sure about the first time i listened to it. i was just kind of like umm what's going on. but then i listened to it many many times. and then i decided that it's awesome. "girl you got me going crazy, knocked me off my feet, now you've got me begging baby, begging baby please, all i want to know is do you want to get away? get away with me, cause girl i don't know what to do, cause i'm SO in love with YOU" yeah it's really good now. lol so the solution is listen to it at least five times then it really grows on you and it's just amazing. yeah dude.!

12. A Little Bit Longer- so this Nick's ballad about his diabetes. the first time i heard it in concert, i felt really emotional for him, (although i couldn't hear him that well stupid teenies screaming at innapropriate times) then the second time i heard it in concert i just bawled my eyes out. i dont' know it was just really sad. this song is a good song. not so much a song i will play as loud as possible and sing along and annoy all the people in the cars next to me. but more or less one that i will use in the future when all i need to hear is "a little bit longer, and i'll be fine" pretty much a mantra i will use. yeah so thanks Nick and don't worry a little bit longer and you will be fine

13. Live To Party- BONUS SONG! at Wal-Mart. yeah it pretty much goes back to their last CD sounds like them from then. lol. but i like it. you know "gotta live to part bust your move everybody's in the groove" ahha it's so fun to rock out too. it also has the dance with a girl with no music playing... yeah interesting.. but i like really like it like alot like yeah. (hah sorry my speech teacher was talking about how people use like as a fill in word..teehee)

14. Hello Goodbye- BONUS SONG! from Target. dun dun dun. remake. of the Beatles. that's a dangerous territory. but you know they totally pulled it off.,. and get this YOU CAN HEAR KEVIN HE HAS A LINE TO SING!! yeah i almost died. and everytime i listen to their version i just like smile ridiculously big cause i am soooooooo happy to hear Kevo :) he just sounds amazing, but i understand he doesn't want to sing, but come one Kevin you freaking have a great voice.. maybe he will give in to peer pressure if we keep begging him.hah. lol anyways the rest of the song is great, and it makes me laugh that it's used for a Target commercial. Oh Target :)

sooooooooooooooo over all i would say this CD is an A!

hah i grade too nicely that's why i could never make it as a teacher.

anyways this CD is def alot different from their first two, but it's still them they've just grown and matured and i love it!
