SOO my brothers graduation party is today. we have been preparing for it all week. actually all month basically and the end of last month too. it's insane.
we have SO many drinks and basically we are expecting about 120 ppl. it's insanity. and its only because my brother used the facebook event as his invitation seriously he invited like 200 ppl thank goodness they all can't come. that would be insane!
it actually sounds like the party already started. pry cause my family is blasting music right now haha.
but whatevs. it's 30 mins til anyone should show up. although i'm sure my grandmother will be first haha.
so we have a volleyball net set up and horseshoes. the girls all have to go home by 3 am and the boys are allowed to sleep over. it's going to be intense.
oh well.
okay so my brother arrived home yesterday at 1:30 in the morning. thankfully he didn't wake me up. i would not have been happy if he did. lol
so i came home from work yesterday (since when i left he was still sleeping) and he was all Sam i have a present for you. i was like lol okay
so i open up the bag and it's a cullen t-shirt from Forks :) so authentic! and a bracelet with the crystal like edward gave bella and a wolf like jacob would have given bella. and it was made by the tribe that Jacob would have belonged to if he was a legit human being in real life :) and it's from La Push. so it's pretty cool i have authentic things like that :)
i think he wanted me to like scream and jump up and down...but i didnt' oh wells :)
and i keep getting ALL this information about college in the mail now. it's so overwhelming. sigh. so i need to find an apartment. pick classes. pay tuition. then buy whatever i need for said apartment.
crazy. stuff.
well going to go practice volleyball for a bit :)

14 Days til my first Jonas Concert of the SUMMER <3
Right now I am listening to the Transformers 2 soundtrack, and i must say it's actually pretty good! who would have thought..well actually i loved the movie so i would have though the soundtrack would be good..
ahha
aww they have The Fray on the soundtrack! how exciting :)
the next soundtrack in my itunes that i just ...got... is How To Be... i forget what movie of Rob's that is..but i decided i should get the soundtrack haha. i should see the movie first pry but oh well. *shrugs*
so my brother is supposed to be coming home from vacation today...
but we dont' know when. since he obviously did not go on vacation with me. or else i wouldn't be writing this lol.
he went to Seattle with his g/f's family. which i umm kind of disapprove of..but that's just me. i mean i like his g/f but her family...they are creepy. really creepy.
anyways while in Washington guess where he visited!!!!

Here We Go Again- Demi Lovato
alright so now i can update about other things.
I'm still sick.
although i can mostly breathe out of my nose now.
which is awesome.
except i think i'm developing a cough.
which is not awesome.
OHh i got accepted to Elizabethtown.
but life hates me and they have no on-campus housing left. so now i have to find an apartment or something.
so freaking stressful.
but i'm trying to find out all i can right now from the transfer people and housing people so that i can find a place to stay.
i pry need to find a roommate
too bad i only know two ppl who go to school there and i highly doubt either of them will room with me...
since one is a guy and well the other one i've known forever but i just dont' know about rooming with her in an apartment.
it just needs to work out. i can't take it.
but i got scholarship money :)
so that's a big deal. but i still need wayyyy more financial aid.

today i bought "THE SEXY STARS OF TWILIGHT" magazine. i laughed when i saw it.
but i bought it!! woo

i also bought another memory card. you know i'm going to need it for all the concerts i'm attending this summer :)

I dreamed i was missing, you were so scared. but no one would listen, cause no one else cared.
So someone at worked borrowed my twilight soundtrack cd, to decide if she wanted to purchase it or not, which is why i am currently rocking out to "Leave Out All The Rest" by Linkin Park lol.
anyways i had my bio test today, it seemed really short, which was weird, but it was hard. sigh. but i'm thinking positive, because duh i passed right? lol
and lab was about plant diversity. so i had to look at moss, ferns, pinecones and flowers. it was really annoying, since i had to smell the flowers and say what they smelled like. i was like umm they smell like flowers? lol
then we ended early but as i was driving to work i hit TWO different traffic jams. one was a car accident, i only saw one car but it looked REALLy bad. but i have no idea what happened. and the other one was because they are working on the road, and tehy are dumb and they work on two roads at the same time so it's like you can't take the one road since technically it's the bridge they are working on so you have to take the highway. so basically i wasted like 45 minutes sitting on the road. lol i twittered, texted and rocked out to my music the whole time. and watched people turn around and take backroads after they drove down the road the wrong way! so i'm sure those roads had traffic jams too. it was crazy, the best part is when on the radio they are like we see no traffic problems. its like oh really? none at all.

idk my bff semicolon.
that's what B and I come up with, after limited amounts of sleep and lots of tiredness. haha.
anyways so last night went to B's sister's house to help set up for the birthday party today. it was intense.
first we attempted to make sugar cookies out of a bag, not our choice, we just did what we were told lol. It kind of didn't work out nicely at all. we ended up trying like 8 times and finally did a pretty good job. ahha. which btw it took us like three hours to do this haha.
anyways basically we made a video montage that i have to put together then i'll post it here and you guys can watch it.
we also wrapped presents. then we went to sleep.
and woke up pretty early this morning and decorated.
our decorations were SICk. ahah. but you'll see in the video montage. that i'm sort of working on. but not really at this moment. but i have up the editing system i use. lol.
we also had to go to Wegmans to pick up the cake, and meat platter, and some other food. and guess who i saw??! only the guy who took me and my friend to wegmans last time to get sushi! ahha. he was like what are you doing here? then he looked at our carts and he was like picking up food? i was like um yeah. haha. he was like cool. i was like uh yeah k bye!. haha. it was interesting.
but seriously Wegmans is the most amazing grocery store everrrrrrrr.
anyways i'm kind of watching TWILIGHT right now. because my dad is awesome and he bought it for me from target this morning at 8 AM. wooo. haha. since i wasn't even home. i love that it's the three disc special too! and i get a free download for my ipod. awesomeeeeeeeeee. i pry won't watch all the extra stuff right now though. i'm not really feeling it. ahha i'm kind of ridiculously tired. and its only 9:45 pm. sad. so sad.haha
so i just checked my twitter @ replies and apparently someone @ replied me and i didn't even know. he said i sounded excited about my poetry homework lol.
i totally wasnt'. which he knew too, i hope i mean i was being sarcastic...
umm anyways video montage will be done. then you will see everything we did.
it was lots of fun though.
so so fun.
i mean Elmo made an appearance! He's famous!
ahhaha :)
anyways that is basically it my day will be summed up with the video montage when it's done. later.
like way later. since i now have to do a midterm, write a paper, finish my mixbook for religion class, do my laundry and go to a play.
oh man just reading that list makes me tired. haha. not going to be a fun day.

So i just saw a commercial for Adventureland it was weird. lol
and i'm watching Gossip Girl now, and it's hilarious.

i can't wait to buy it this weekend. maybe lol, if i have time.
anyways spring break over, back to school. it was horrible lol. i cant' stand getting up early. i mean i got up at like 7:30 and i was like this cannot possibly be the right time.
but it was. blah.
went to class. bio. it was lameeeee. seriously i'm so tired of bio. it just needs to end.
I can't even concentrate in school anymore. SUMMER needs to get here faster lol. Spring break made it worse.
Also so many people are talking about the jonas tour this summer and i can't wait when i get my tickets i'm going to happy dance like no other lol.
oh well. i think i'm getting sick again. which is a major bummer man.

Got My Hair CUT !!!!!!!!
READYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
YAYY.
so my hair is crazy short now. but i really like it lol.
right after she cut off the ten inches i started to like freak out internally. i was like oh my gosh what did i just do! i just got so much hair cut off!
then they shampooed my hair and i was "Hey it's going to be alright!"
and it was. lol the more she cut it and shaped it the more i loved it.
now the funny thing is my hair is shorter in the back than my one brothers hair! i should take a picture of the back of his head and the back of mine and show you! lol.
also while i was there my mom and Alice the other hairdresser were all you should have gotten highlights! then my hairdresser was like yeah but only in the front. i was like oh my gosh lol i just got ten inches or more off i'm not ready for highlights yet! haha
and another thing that was really weird was the picture right next to the chair i was getting my hair cut in. it was ironic since he was half naked. you'll see why it was ironic....
so today the real estate guy who actually turned out to be a lady since the guy injured himself came to our house.
first she thought my closet was clean and organized. which is really funny but hey whatever.
(OOOO Step Up is on tv right now :D )
then she was like wow you have a lot of posters up. i was like uh yeah. and she was like well at least they are clean. and i was thinking umm what? clean as in nicely clean and not with dirt on them or something?
then she continued to go into this story of her seeing someone's posters at their house which were half-naked woman apparently.
at first in my mind i was like umm are you expecting me to have halfnaked woman posters? cause that's weird. or maybe she thought i'd have half naked men on my walls? (and this is why it's ironic, the half naked man poster on the wall by the chair i was getting my hair cut in! haha) haha no way. i'll stick to the jonas brothers, demi, twilight and t. swift. thank you very much.
and apparently the real estate lady is going to have our house sold anywhere between 30-90 days which is intense. i mean that means by June i could be in a new house. how crazy is that?!
i mean it's really exciting but super scary at the same time. but really exciting. you know? it's like the mixed feelings you get of freaking out, out of excitement and nervousness.
haha woah i just got a message on youtube about my video and it just was posted like an hour ago. crazy fast man.

also while i was there my mom and Alice the other hairdresser were all you should have gotten highlights! then my hairdresser was like yeah but only in the front. i was like oh my gosh lol i just got ten inches or more off i'm not ready for highlights yet! haha
and another thing that was really weird was the picture right next to the chair i was getting my hair cut in. it was ironic since he was half naked. you'll see why it was ironic....
so today the real estate guy who actually turned out to be a lady since the guy injured himself came to our house.
first she thought my closet was clean and organized. which is really funny but hey whatever.

then she was like wow you have a lot of posters up. i was like uh yeah. and she was like well at least they are clean. and i was thinking umm what? clean as in nicely clean and not with dirt on them or something?
then she continued to go into this story of her seeing someone's posters at their house which were half-naked woman apparently.
at first in my mind i was like umm are you expecting me to have halfnaked woman posters? cause that's weird. or maybe she thought i'd have half naked men on my walls? (and this is why it's ironic, the half naked man poster on the wall by the chair i was getting my hair cut in! haha) haha no way. i'll stick to the jonas brothers, demi, twilight and t. swift. thank you very much.
and apparently the real estate lady is going to have our house sold anywhere between 30-90 days which is intense. i mean that means by June i could be in a new house. how crazy is that?!
i mean it's really exciting but super scary at the same time. but really exciting. you know? it's like the mixed feelings you get of freaking out, out of excitement and nervousness.
haha woah i just got a message on youtube about my video and it just was posted like an hour ago. crazy fast man.
anyways i'm sure you all know what i'm talking about cause you are all awesome :)

Here Comes the rain.
so i know i said i was going to review a cd today, but i'm tired and i need to go to sleep because i have to get up early for class tomorrow. lol. i know excuses excuses. but perhaps i will do both tomorrow! :)
anyways someone shared this video with me, and now i shall share it with you.
this girl is CRAZY. but hilarious. i laughed the entire time. especially when she interviewed Jackson and Rob. hahah.
crazy crazy.
umm so my bio quiz today, kind of hard but at the same time not too bad. at least i studied the right things! go me. oh my gosh i just realized i really need my mom to copy things at work for me tomorrow. hold on..hah okay. anyways. so before bio started i was kind of freaking out like i always do over quizzes and tests and the interesting lady who sits next to me was like dont' worry about it you studied you'll do fine. i was like you dont' understand i need to study before the class starts or else i'll freak out even more.
then we got the quiz and after the quiz she was like i guess i should have been studying too.
i was like BOO YAH. hah. i mean i feel fairly confident that i did not fail. i pry didn't get a perfect score but at long as i didn't fail it is all good.
then bio class. blah blah blah. we learned about Gregor Mendel basically remember him from 9th grade. no big deal.
Bio lab. totally looked at a slide for a WHITEFISH BLASTULA!!! lol. and AN ONION ROOT. :)
which basically means we are going over Mitosis! hahah. it was great. oh and this is only great because the whole time i was trying to not smile like an idiot from thinking about that part in twilight lol. why yes my life does revovle around twilight and jonas references. sometimes if i'm lucky a demi or t. swift reference pops up too LOL. we also had to dissect a maggot. well more like cut it's head off and look for the salivary glands. i didnt do that though, i mean it's not like i'm afraid of maggots it's just the guys at the table were all i guess we are going to have to do it. trying to be all manly. hahaha. i was like whatever i would rather look at the whitefish blastula anyways :P
oh and it wasn't the cute boy who said those things it was his very strange friend. lol. so bio lab went kind of fast. and well we didnt' really talk today. although the other cute boy in class got in my way twice. i was like seriously dude. i think he did it on purpose ;)
hahah. then bio lab was done and i walked outside and basically couldn't believe how nice it was! i mean yesterday was like in the 40's i go outside today and bam it was like 65 AMAZINGNESS! too bad i didn't know that and was wearing my winter jacket. i was like great thanks for not telling me it was this nice out! jeez!
and apparently it was a one day only thing. tomorrow is back to being in the lower 40's :( go figure.
and we are supposed to get more snow on sunday :|
but it's not supposed to stick, which is fine by me, i would rather go back to the 65 degree weather. lol.
tomorrow is ethics, poetry and religion class day :)
even though i have to get up way early i still love all my classes
and there is a cute boy in poetry class... have i mentioned him before?!
idk pry not... oh wait he's the kid who yelled Clint Eastwood that one class period! i def mentioned that! and maybe if i'm lucky he's actually single! hahah.
and my friend Nicole happens to think that she will be able to get me to talk to him. i wish her all the luck, i am sometimes way to shy for my own good. which i guess means i am so shy that it works against me sometimes?
uh yeah idk. i believe that is all. i am basically falling asleep while i write this. so i bid you all good night. and may you dream of that super cute boy (or girl) who you find exremely attractive and hope for a future with :)
PS. it's only getting cold again because we are getting rain tonight. A huge rainstorm that has put our area in a storm advisory. which basically means watch out your electricity has a chance of going out. WHICH basically means that my electricity will for sure go out.

Win A Date With Tad Hamilton!
So this morning i got home at like 12:30 it was so tiring. and of course i went on facebook for a bit LOL. since i hadn't been on in like 8 hours! ahh! lol so bad.
anyways then i went to sleep at like 1:30
and i woke up at like 8:45 to go walk the dog. it was so uncool having to get up at that time and only have 7 hours of sleep sigh.
so i went and walked sweetpea. got this adorable Valentines Day card from the little girl i babysit. i love her lol
and then i went to target i figured i might as well since i was driving by it on the wayyyy home! lol
and i bought
lol sorry it's sideways it looked best that way :)
anyways well Demi was supposed to have a livechat today. it was cancelled :(
oh well it's supposed to be rescheduled eventually yeah. and well besides that i pry will read a book later for extra credit in religion class it's called "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe. idk i hope it's good. and then after that i'll pry go to church and then iCarly is on and it's a new episode with Archie. lol
and then i'm going to bed because i'm tired lol. and i stayed up way late last night and had to get up way to early for my liking. lol and i'm supposed to hang out with someone tomorrow but idk if that's happening. i pry should text her and check it outtttt.
oh so anyways i can tell you about yesterday. so i went to this girl in my bio class' house. and well it was interesting. for some odd reason dogs really like me. i mean i like dogs i have one, but other people's dogs just really bother me. its' just the way i am, but anyways her dogs like sat on me and like followed me around i was like gosh. then we ate spaghetti and watched The REAL desperate housewives of the OC. lol. and made fun of them because really they are ridiculous. we watched like four episodes. it was Vicki, Gretchen, Lynne, Jeanna and uh oh yeah Tamra. they were really crazy and basically money was their favorite thing in the world. and hmm one of them made cuffs. and called it Cuff Love LOL like that's her business name idk she is trying to sell them at Fred Segal or something, and she actually made some really cool ones. i think it was Lynne who did taht. haha anyways who cares after that. the girl who i was hanging out with cousin showed up and we went to Wawa to get some candy then we went to the movie theater to see TWILIGHT!! WOO. it was as amazing as i remembered it to be lol AND i basically quoted the movie lol. yup
oh and when we were going in i totally thought i saw the boy from my bio lab. but i think it wasn't him. i mean i only that because the kid was wearing a beanie like the kid in my bio lab does lol. well i think thats it. Sonny With A Chance premieres tomorrow! woo too bad it's the same time as the Grammy's that's why i am going to tape SWAC, and watch the Grammy's lol. oh and you can totally get the first Ep of SWAC on itunes for FREE! BOO YAH! okay well that is all :)

Well no one pry got my joke in the title there but hey props to you if you did! haha which hopefully you will by the end of this blog! READY ! :)
so went to school today. it was pretty normal. haha oh my gosh in my poetry class there is this really cute boy and he is hilarious and today we wre talking about Concrete and Abstract images. so we were like doing a quiz but as a class since we were running out of time and it was like

CLINT EASTWOOD: and everyone was like concrete and the boy was like ABSTRACT. and i bursted out laughing, you know Clint Eastwood... JS.. uh yeah lol. and our teacher was like WHO said that? and he was like ME. and she was like were you being serious. and he was like ha no i was kidding! lol
i was like dying of laughter. well basically i laugh hysterically whenever anyone mentions Clint Eastwood. what can i say he's so weird lol.
anyways after poetry class i was walking to my next class (comparative religion) with my friend Nicole who is in poetry and religion class with me. so we get to religion class and it was cancelled! it was really weird we like saw people from our class and we were like all confused at what to do lol. and basically i was majorly bummed that the class was cancelled. i love that class lol. So then Nicole and I walked to the library and it was freezing and basically we were like crying because of the wind. and in the library we went and talked to the kid we hang out with in religion class. well it's more like Nicole facebook stalked him and friended him and talked to him and then i friended him and talked to him haha and now we all sit together in class. lol
um anyways so we found him in the library and he was like freaking out, well more like in disbelief that neither of us had ever been to Wegmans since according to him "its the best place on earth" lol. so he drove us to Wegmans in his car. and he drove like really really fast and i was sitting in the back seat and his speakers made the seat vibrate lol it was like i was getting a massage. PLUS he was listening to a song from the twilight soundtrack. (yup he likes Twilight!) lol. but i don't like him like that lol. Nicole has dibs hahah. except he's taken. okay i really need to stop putting he/him/his=Ross. lol, besides i think i have a better chance with the boy in bio lab lol.
anyways Ross seriously drove like 80 mph it was intense lol but i just pretended not to notice and tried to understand what the people were saying in the other songs we listened to. since i have no idea lol, and he kept asking Nicole questions but i couldn't hear them because the volume was SUPER loud. haha. but it's all good. i was content listening to the tambourine in the one song! we then arrived at Wegman's and Ross was like freaking out and he was powerwalking into the store. no really he walked super fast, Nicole and I had to like run to keep up with him!
Then we got inside. and Ross was right it is the best place on earth lol. i mean all the food and everything it's amazing. then we bought some sushi to share between all of us. and i have had sushi before but only the California roll which is basically seaweed and rice lol, but today i tried the Spring roll which is brown rice, seaweed and EEL. haha do you understand the title now?
so we went upstairs (YEAH there is an upstairs in the wegmans! crazy!!) and ate our sushi and then we were asking eachtother questions you know to get to know eachother better. and then i said something and Ross was like what are yuu serious or is that a joke like teehee and i was just stared at him and put my hand up and he was all see i dont' even know how to take her. i was like hahahha. oh man. then we went back to the school and they dropped me off by my car and when they drove away Ross waved all crazy like and i just bursted out laughing and waved back. so i can easily say that this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship between Ross, Nicole and I lol
besides Nicole and I are already friends lol we talk about the boy in poetry class all the time lol and Ross. ahhaha but shh he doesn't know.
then i went to work and finished in an hour. which is hilarious since when i got there, my boss was freaking out because apparently there was alot of work and they started typing. but hey i'm glad they did because i had to be done by two anyways so it worked out nicely. then i went to the library returned some books came home watched saved by the bell ate dinner and here i am lol so i think that's about it.! oh wait! someone told me today that Honor Society has TWO EP'S out!!!! i own A Tale of Risky Business one lol, and i just bought the other one from iTunes today. since the person (hey KAT THANKS! lol) told me that they were on iTunes. oh and the other album is called The Green Light EP
lol. and it's awesome, even my little brother wants them on his ipod. That's saying something! lol

Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
This poem always reminds me of the Cullens/Hales and Jacob and his friends now.

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
Oh, my. This book justifies Bad Book Month all by itself. It's appalling. The redeeming factors are few and far between (mostly Charlie, because he's sweet; and maybe Jasper), but they're helpless against the overwhelming gag factor.
The most appalling element, however, is how popular this novel is. How many teenage girls are drinking this up and screaming for more. I fear for my gender's future, for what they're learning about love and relationships through this series.
However, I'm not the only one who's noticed the general lack of quality about this book (and its sequels, which I hear just get worse). avadriel posted an insightful, if scathing, review of the book. Reading the one-star reviews on Amazon is also quite fun.
Because of the amount of anti-Twilight stuff out there - though, granted, it only equals the smallest fraction of the pro-Twilight fangirl mania - I'm not going to write a review. I'm not going to go into the disturbing way Bella and Edward's obsessive relationship is portrayed as true love, or how borderline abusive it is, with Bella's complete lack of self outside Edward and Edward's controlling, emotionally unstable behavior. I don't have anything new to say on the topic.

Lines That Made Me Laugh Out Loud Because...Well, You'll See:

Incandescent. Scintillating. The adjectives in this book cracked me up. Because he sparkles!
The meadow, so spectacular to me at first, paled next to his magnificence.
Paled! Is that a joke? Oh, she's serious? I was afraid of that.
As I had just that once before, I smelled his cool breath in my face. Sweet, delicious, the scent made my mouth water.
This to me was the most disturbing aspect of Edward's inhuman perfection. It's just weird. And gross. And weird.
Edward: "There are other hungers. Hungers I don't even understand, that are foreign to me."
Um, Ed, babe? You were seventeen when you were turned. I highly doubt those "hungers" were foreign to you.
I could smell the unbearably sweet fragrance coming off his chest.
He pressed his cool lips to my forehead, and the room spun. The smell of his breath made it impossible to think.
Because, through the heavy water, I heard the sound of an angel calling my name, calling me to the only heaven I wanted.
He leaned in slowly, the beeping noise accelerated wildly before his lips even touched me. But when they did, though with the most gentle of pressure, the beeping stopped altogether.
...EDWARD KISSES HER AND HER HEART LITERALLY STOPS. I just...I don't even know what to do with this. Other than laugh hysterically while I beat my head against the table.

From now on, I'm using the word "Edwardian" to refer to something inhumanly beautiful or perfect. For example: "Joe is totally Edwardian. Did you see his abs?"
And, because I am going to laugh at Edward Cullen for the rest of my life - because why, if you are immortal and so gorgeous that women faint at the sight of you, would you enroll in high school? wouldn't you have better things to do with your time? - I decided to start by writing a short parody of Twilight. When I finished, I realized it wasn't quite as much of a parody as I'd hoped, because the writing is actually like this. It's hard to make it even more ridiculous, but I tried. I'm pretty sure every adjective I used is already in the book. Multiple times.
Note: This contains a ridiculous theory of mine regarding the Twilight cover. Why is she holding an apple? Why? I get the color scheme, but an apple? Thus was born my vampiric fruit theory.
Note 2: Also, I think the funniest thing in the world would be if Edward actually ate Bella. I'd, like, frame that passage. Sadly, at the end of the series, I have the feeling Bella will have yet another tragic accident, only this time, the only way Edward will be able to save her is to turn her into a vampire - just as she's always wanted! And I will mourn the death of teen literature.

Edward leaned toward me, his perfect face inches from mine. His sweet, delicious breath ghosted over my face. His golden eyes glowed with love.
“How do you like it?” he whispered, his velvet voice purring in my ear.
I couldn’t respond, so dazzled was I by his sparkling skin. He shone like a diamond in the sun, a godlike creature before me.
He smirked at my befuddlement, but then his face darkened and he thundered, “Don’t be difficult, Bella!”
I cringed, but he instantly softened, chuckled his bell-like laugh, and leaned toward me again. His cold, pale fingers brushed my cheek. I stopped breathing.
“Come here,” he said, bounding up in one of those blindingly-fast movements I’d grown accustomed to. “I want to show you something.”
He led me to a small creek and sank gracefully into the grass at its edge. I tripped over a pebble and landed on my face in the mud. Edward laughed. How could he love me? He was so beautiful, gorgeous, and perfect. Like the statue of David come alive. Like Adonis, a god, an angel.
Edward removed his shoes and rolled up the cuffs of his jeans, and I gasped at the sight of his white, smooth ankles. Sunlight reflected off his toenails, each an ivory glint of perfection. I’d never seen Edward’s feet before. I hadn’t realized he could be more beautiful than he was, but there seemed no end to his beauty.
My heart beat madly in my chest, bounced up into my throat, ricocheted off half a dozen ribs, and finally settled somewhere in the vicinity of my kneecap. I collapsed.
Faster than a speeding bullet, Edward had lifted me in his marble arms and cradled me to his granite chest. “Bella? Bella!” he screamed. “No!”

His cold, unyielding lips pressed to mine, but I dared not move for fear of breaking his control, so irresistible did he find the scent of my blood. I could not bear knowing I had caused Edward pain by forcing him to eat me. My heart fluttered around my kneecap.
The kiss done, Edward set me on my feet. Without moving, I tripped over a stick and would have fallen in the stream had Edward not caught me in his iron embrace.
“Will you answer a question?” I asked.
“Of course, my love, my life, my forever,” Edward said, casually tearing boulders apart with his toes. I watched, spellbound for a moment, before remembering myself.
“I once asked if you could turn into a bat, and you just laughed.”
Edward smirked. “Because it was a stupid question. We don’t turn into bats. Why would we want to turn into bats?”
“But can you turn into something?”
“Of course.” He stood, stretched, and his shirt rose enough for me to catch a glimpse of his sculpted abs above his waistband. I hyperventilated and passed out.
When I awoke, Edward was speaking.
“—for disguise.”
“What?” I asked breathlessly.
“I said, we turn into fruit. It’s great for disguising yourself.” He watched me carefully, to see if this revelation would finally be the one that convinced me he was a monster, that sent me screaming from him.
“Oh.” I said. “What kind of fruit?”
He looked frustrated, annoyed, euphoric, scared, nervous, grumpy, amused, sleepy, and sad. Like an archangel come down from heaven to bless me with his presence. “An apple.”
“Oh. Can I see?”
Rage colored his features. “No! Why can’t you understand? I’m a danger to you! I could kill you! I should leave you forever!” He threw himself forward and wrapped his arms around me. “I should go – right now! It’s the only way to keep you safe!”
Despair settled over me, so thick and heavy I could hardly see. “No, Edward! Don’t leave me! I know we’ve only been together for three hours, but I want to spend forever with you! Please!”
He pulled back and looked at me, thousands of emotions roiling in his liquid topaz eyes. “Do you mean that, Bella?”
“Yes.”
“Very well.”
His perfect, glorious, heavenly face dipped toward me, and he touched his cold lips to my neck. He growled deep in his throat, a sound that traveled up and down my spine like lightning.
Then came a sharp pain. His grip tightened. I gasped his name. My sight dimmed until all I could see was the sparkle of his skin, calling me to paradise.
Then nothing.

Edward looked down at the body of Bella Swan, pale and lifeless in his pale and lifeless arms.
“Oops.”
His sobs shook the forest for six long seconds, and then he stood, wiping a drop of blood from the corner of his mouth.
“Yum.”

After the sudden slew of reviews to this entry, I've decided to add a little postscript. I wrote this for a few people on my flist I knew would enjoy it and never intended to post it to any comms or in anyway try to get it out to the mass-Twilight-reading public. I amused myself and some others, and that was all I intended.
That said, for all of you who have stopped by in the last month, read, commented, and enjoyed, I'm glad I was able to bring a little laughter and humor into your day, and thank you for enjoying this so much that you shared with others. I am humbled and honored by your attention.

In Which I Read Bad Books on Purpose
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
Oh, my. This book justifies Bad Book Month all by itself. It's appalling. The redeeming factors are few and far between (mostly Charlie, because he's sweet; and maybe Jasper), but they're helpless against the overwhelming gag factor.
The most appalling element, however, is how popular this novel is. How many teenage girls are drinking this up and screaming for more. I fear for my gender's future, for what they're learning about love and relationships through this series.
However, I'm not the only one who's noticed the general lack of quality about this book (and its sequels, which I hear just get worse). avadriel posted an insightful, if scathing, review of the book. Reading the one-star reviews on Amazon is also quite fun.
Because of the amount of anti-Twilight stuff out there - though, granted, it only equals the smallest fraction of the pro-Twilight fangirl mania - I'm not going to write a review. I'm not going to go into the disturbing way Bella and Edward's obsessive relationship is portrayed as true love, or how borderline abusive it is, with Bella's complete lack of self outside Edward and Edward's controlling, emotionally unstable behavior. I don't have anything new to say on the topic.

Lines That Made Me Laugh Out Loud Because...Well, You'll See:
I couldn't imagine how an angel could be any more glorious.

He lay perfectly still in the grass, his shirt open over his sculpted, incandescent chest, his scintillating arms bare.
Incandescent. Scintillating. The adjectives in this book cracked me up. Because he sparkles!
The meadow, so spectacular to me at first, paled next to his magnificence.
Paled! Is that a joke? Oh, she's serious? I was afraid of that.
As I had just that once before, I smelled his cool breath in my face. Sweet, delicious, the scent made my mouth water.
This to me was the most disturbing aspect of Edward's inhuman perfection. It's just weird. And gross. And weird.
Edward: "There are other hungers. Hungers I don't even understand, that are foreign to me."
Um, Ed, babe? You were seventeen when you were turned. I highly doubt those "hungers" were foreign to you.
I could smell the unbearably sweet fragrance coming off his chest.
He pressed his cool lips to my forehead, and the room spun. The smell of his breath made it impossible to think.
Because, through the heavy water, I heard the sound of an angel calling my name, calling me to the only heaven I wanted.
He leaned in slowly, the beeping noise accelerated wildly before his lips even touched me. But when they did, though with the most gentle of pressure, the beeping stopped altogether.
...EDWARD KISSES HER AND HER HEART LITERALLY STOPS. I just...I don't even know what to do with this. Other than laugh hysterically while I beat my head against the table.

From now on, I'm using the word "Edwardian" to refer to something inhumanly beautiful or perfect. For example: "Joe is totally Edwardian. Did you see his abs?"
And, because I am going to laugh at Edward Cullen for the rest of my life - because why, if you are immortal and so gorgeous that women faint at the sight of you, would you enroll in high school? wouldn't you have better things to do with your time? - I decided to start by writing a short parody of Twilight. When I finished, I realized it wasn't quite as much of a parody as I'd hoped, because the writing is actually like this. It's hard to make it even more ridiculous, but I tried. I'm pretty sure every adjective I used is already in the book. Multiple times.
Note: This contains a ridiculous theory of mine regarding the Twilight cover. Why is she holding an apple? Why? I get the color scheme, but an apple? Thus was born my vampiric fruit theory.
Note 2: Also, I think the funniest thing in the world would be if Edward actually ate Bella. I'd, like, frame that passage. Sadly, at the end of the series, I have the feeling Bella will have yet another tragic accident, only this time, the only way Edward will be able to save her is to turn her into a vampire - just as she's always wanted! And I will mourn the death of teen literature.

I cringed, but he instantly softened, chuckled his bell-like laugh, and leaned toward me again. His cold, pale fingers brushed my cheek. I stopped breathing.
“Come here,” he said, bounding up in one of those blindingly-fast movements I’d grown accustomed to. “I want to show you something.”
He led me to a small creek and sank gracefully into the grass at its edge. I tripped over a pebble and landed on my face in the mud. Edward laughed. How could he love me? He was so beautiful, gorgeous, and perfect. Like the statue of David come alive. Like Adonis, a god, an angel.
Edward removed his shoes and rolled up the cuffs of his jeans, and I gasped at the sight of his white, smooth ankles. Sunlight reflected off his toenails, each an ivory glint of perfection. I’d never seen Edward’s feet before. I hadn’t realized he could be more beautiful than he was, but there seemed no end to his beauty.
My heart beat madly in my chest, bounced up into my throat, ricocheted off half a dozen ribs, and finally settled somewhere in the vicinity of my kneecap. I collapsed.

Twilighers- Women of The Year?
Yup this apparently true. how interesting is that? i find it kind of really awesome but at the same time kind of lame.
I mean it's lame because we got women of the year for reading and watching a movie (multiple times mind you)
but it's really awesome because we are women of the year!

i'm such a nerd.

the sweet sound of freedom in the afternoon.
yes. i'm free from school for basically five weeks :)))))))))))))))))
so since i couldn't update yesterday since i was having a mental breakdown from studying..here we go...
well my final was super duper easy. just needed to present! woo. lol
yeah my group went third last. which was fine as long as we didn't ahve to go first and we weren't completely last that's all that mattered. and we were actually running out of time for the final so my group just skipped random things lol and the teachers only commented about like two things compared to the first groups which basically got like 11 comments. lol but who cares, my group didn't we sat down and were like yes we are done. then the one girl celebrated by giving us all chocolate. the good kind Dove with caramel inside. yummerz. and the promise message was "a helping hand is sometimes the best present of all"
hmm dude, i actually really liked that promise message :)
anyways after that went to work. got out kind of early then i went christmas shopping! woo. lol i finished my brothers both of them! and i actually started B's present! lol yay! but. i still have a lot to go and now i'm broke basically so i have to wait til next weekend to finish how bad is that lol. like five days before christmas to finish shopping. this will be the first year that i am so late on my shopping. so bad. um anyways now i need to finish B, buy for the little girl i babysit and umm woah am i done then. oh snap no i have to buy for our secret santa thing we do at work.

last year i ended up picking first but everyone kept taking my present so then i could take someone elses or pick a new one and i always picked a new one cause i'm nice like that and i ended up with a book called "Weird Pennslyvania" and it was all the weird places in PA. it was actually kind of interesting in a weird way.
anyways maybe this year everyone wont keep stealing the presents away from me and i would be really fortunate to not have to pick first. because i do not like going first for pretty much anything.
yup so anyways lol
last night i studied like a crazy person
and this morning i had to get up at 5:30 in the morning which was tortorous becasue first of all on tuesdays and thursdays i normally woke up at 6:15 so that 45 minutes really threw me off, plus the fact that i couldn't sleep because i was nervous about both of my finals. so when i finally got into a deep sleep something would wake me up. and it was not cool at all. and it was raining AGAIN. i have nothing against the rain. really it's good for the earth and blah blah blah, but two days in a row is just not cool. anyways did my speech final, it was whatevs. did my american lit final hopefully i did really well on that. then i went to work for about 45 minutes. :)
then i went to see twilight again which i was 30 minutes early for the movie so i sang the songs they preview and all that jazz lol but like five minutes before the movie started other people started to arrive. i was like oh dang. and they were all couples. yeah awkward. but whatever i don't care i still talked to myself, yes i talked to myself, i laughed loudly and hysterically at everything i thought was funny. and basically was myself lol GO me. hahah. anyways if you go see the movie again. check to see if any of the Forks signs are misspelled someone told someone else that i know that one of the signs are misspelled, i did't see it but who knows lol. and also pay very careful attention during the baseball scene after Edward and Emmett crash into each other ;)
anyways and basically after that i left the theater which the song they play during credits before Leave Out All The Rest. do any of you know it?! it's not on the soundtrack and i dont know what it is even though i stayed til the end to watch all the song credits and i missed it, or i think i found it but looked it up and it doesn't exist? lol
yeah. go me.

then i went to see twilight again which i was 30 minutes early for the movie so i sang the songs they preview and all that jazz lol but like five minutes before the movie started other people started to arrive. i was like oh dang. and they were all couples. yeah awkward. but whatever i don't care i still talked to myself, yes i talked to myself, i laughed loudly and hysterically at everything i thought was funny. and basically was myself lol GO me. hahah. anyways if you go see the movie again. check to see if any of the Forks signs are misspelled someone told someone else that i know that one of the signs are misspelled, i did't see it but who knows lol. and also pay very careful attention during the baseball scene after Edward and Emmett crash into each other ;)
anyways and basically after that i left the theater which the song they play during credits before Leave Out All The Rest. do any of you know it?! it's not on the soundtrack and i dont know what it is even though i stayed til the end to watch all the song credits and i missed it, or i think i found it but looked it up and it doesn't exist? lol
yeah. go me.

I got overexcited when Cedric jumped out of a tree...
yup. Right in the beginning.I was like OH MAN that's where he gets his abilities for when he turns into Edward Cullen (hahahah)
anyways Harry Potter Weekend is over now. sad face. almost cried when Cedric died. legit. i was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
and when his dad is like screaming. i was like oh man i forgot how sad this is.
anyways i think i need to see twilight again. hahah
okay this blog was basically pointless. i painted my nails red and green :)
and had my family holiday party today. it was with my second and third and well first cousins too and aunts and uncles and you know them all lol. it's pretty much crazy. and everyone has basically agree that the grandparents are insane. for example
every year we get a $5 to walmart. i know it doesn't seem like much but it's nice when there are like 30 grandchildren among 3 sets of grandparents. so today they made us stand up and INTRODUCE OURSELVES it's like we all know eachother so it was lame. and then WE HAD TO SAY SOMETHING ABOUT OURSELVES like the first day of school. it was majorly lame. so then everyone said one thing then it was my turn and my grandmother asked me questions so i basically said wayyyyyyyyyyyyy more than everyone else. i was like well then. all for five bucks. whatever. then i sat down and looked at the envelope the gift card came in. and they spelled my name wrong. yeah. my own family spelled my name wrong. i was like what the heck is it that hard to spell my name?!? NO. sigh. lol and my mom's one uncle didn't know who i was but it's cool cause i dont' really know him that well either lol, but he said once you get old you can be retired and retarded then he laughed. it was great.
and well that's it. lol all the excitement in my life :)
