blame it on the summer rain

so there's no food in my apartment really, i mean we have cereal but then we don't have milk so you know that's problematic... anyways we have like 30 luna bars. so i had a luna bar for breakfast, and for lunch. although i also had a piece of toast with cream cheese and rasberry jam on it. which was good. but anyways i really don't want to have to eat a luna bar for dinner too. the thing is i'm a bit broke.
never got a stupid job around here. but whatever. i'm hoping i'll get my tax refund money from my mom when i go home for easter. that way i can buy my roommates birthday present, and be able to buy food!
i'm thinking about surprising her by making her a cupcake cake. (you make cupcakes but then ice them together to make it look like a cake!) i've never actually done it before but i think it looks easy. and fun!
plus she's turning 21 and she keeps saying that she feels like the trip she planned to penn state is going to fall through (since her trip to italy then our florida trip both fell through) so i figure i can make her birthday awesome, even if the trip does fall through!
also been fighting this stupid cough for like over a week now. it appeared out of no where and it won't leave. it's really annoying though. i'm trying to decide if it's because all the people around our apartment smoke and my body just can't handle it anymore...
i'm thinking it's kind of possible. but i mean it's a little over a month until i'm out of here. so hopefully my cough clears up before graduation!
speaking of graduation i bought this freaking ADORABLE white dress from target. it was on sale and it has a liner so it's not see through which makes me really happy! i've been looking for a white dress for like four years now! ahha.
i'm also going to wear it to this random dance i'm going to at my friends school on friday. although the dance is jungle theme.
the dress kind of has like white flowers outlined on it though, in kind of lace material..
anyway. i know that sounds bad that i'm broke but buying dresses... but i couldnt' resist it's so cuteeeeeeee.

so yeah. anyways today is supposed to be 81 degrees! i'm super excited although it's supposed to be only in the 60's the rest of the week. but i'm just glad it's out of the 40/50's spring is supposed to be nice not cold!
lets see, i've been working a lot on all these papers i have to do lately.
it's been intense.
i finished my one for judaism. that's due next week.
i'm half way done the one for vocation which isnt' due til may.
and i realllly need to start my internship paper (which apparently is supposed to be 20-25 pages. that's news flash to me..)
but that's not due til may either. but i'd rather have it done than be panicking about it...
i'm really excited for this weekend for the dance.
then next weekend i get to go home for easter!
which i'm excited for...except it might be bad because i have to talk to my mom about the living situation..
and i know she's going to make me feel guilty.
sigh.
anyways i'm also working on my seminary applications...
except i've only filled out one. and i don't feel like filling out any other ones. even though i know i should..
sigh.

Ps> i just gotta say i'm REALLY excited for Joe's solo album. i mean he just did the photo shoot for it. it's going to be awesomeeee. and apparently he's collaborating with chris brown..it's gotta be cool!

soo my friends came to visit yesterday it was awesome :) i showed them around campus (when it weirdly became crazy windy haha) then we had dinner and stalked John for awhile. i know that sounds creepy. but that's what we did. bhaha.
then we went to the mad cow improv comedy show. and it was crazy because my old roommate who graduated last year was there! it was so funny though he like sat in my row and i said hi first. (go me right ! haha) and he was like HEY! how are you?! and the kid he was with who must've graduated a year before my old roommate was like why do you know everyone here!!! and mike was like umm she was my roommate last year. and i was like uh yeah ahhah. then that kid was like oh. awkward...
it was pretty hilarious. then the rest of the night that kid kept like looking over at me though and i was like what the heck.
i mean i KNOW it's weird that i roomed with two guys, but whatever.
anyway then this other kid who never talks to me anymore sat next to me to sit to sit with my old roommate and the other kid who made life awkward.
then he kept talking to me throughout the show and i was like um okay you haven't talked to me since like november of last semester. but it's whatever.
he pry thinks it's funny.
but WHAT he doesn't know is that the first time we met wasn't when he thinks we met.
i met him when he was drunk one time at a "get together" my roommates had.
so you know i'm okay with that. haha
anyways the show was pretty funny. it was the "after dark" show, which made it super awkward. because they didn't like censor things or make it "family" friendly.
super awkward, but it was still good and i think my friends enjoyed it.
they at least enjoyed john being a crazy person and talking about his love of science. haha.
he even showed us his cells. i was like oh goodness not this again. ahha. he even was like oh sam you've seen this before but you can look at the again!
i was like umm sure...
haha. he makes me laugh. crazy kid.
anyway after john showed us his cells he left to do who knows what. and my friends and i met up with nina and alex and talked to them for a bit then my friends had to leave so we came back to my apartment and they left and i got ready for bed.
and stayed up like two hours later than i should have.
went to the synagogue this morning, the service was two hours long. and we didn't even show up at the beginning of it...
it was interesting though. the men and women were separated by plexiglass/wood so that was strange. and everything was basically in Hebrew so i had no idea what was happening. but its' cool.
after that i came back to my apartment watched the office, community and parks and rec, until like 4 or something then i did some homework. until like 6, had dinner, called my dad and now i'll probably do some homework again and then watch a movie or maybe i'll just go to bed because i'm tired after having to get up at 8 for the synagogue and i have to get up by 9 for church tomorrow. so yeah.
who knows.
and that was a boring summary of my day.
haha. you probably didn't need to know all of that. but oh well :)

Happy Pi Day!

Well here I am back at school.
I already realized that i left my phone charger at home. so that's really good. not.
i texted my mom asking her to send it in the mail. but she never responded. sigh.

anyways being back at school is weird.
well first of all i went to dinner at six. with Kate, John, Jenn and Chuck. and as i was getting my salad. who would i see? none other than shb. i was like what the heck. I haven't even been on campus for thirty minutes and i see him. so ridiculous. I decided to not look at him though. i mean i saw him walking when i looked up but when i saw him out of the corner of my eye i decided not to look over at him. although i did see him look over at me. but you know, I haven't decided if i really care anymore. I think i'm kind of at the point where it's like well if nothing is ever going to happen then who cares. I mean it does have to be some sort of sign that i see him all the time. but i'm at the point of if he is going to talk to me then OH WELL.
yup.
on a sidenote wedding boy wished me a happy pi day on my facebook wall. I was kind of shocked. he also told me to do something nerdy today. I'm not really sure what i did that was nerdy, but then again i'm always a nerd, so everything i did today was probably nerdy. hahaha.

anyways i dont' like daylights savings time, at least not in the spring. i can't stand to lose sleep. and i already didn't sleep well for the past few days. i'm not happy. so i really should go to sleep early tonight. i need it.
so that's what i'm going to do.
it's supposed to be rainy and forty degrees tomorrow. buttttt WEDNESDAY is supposed to be around 60! oh how i adore spring!
i also stopped by Rita's and asked the girl working to see if they got my application, she said they would be looking for people soon because people are leaving in july... i was thinking i'm not even going to be here in july... but oh well. i still need that job.
i think that's basically it. today was kind of blah. and i sort of have a headache or something. i mean i just have a dull ache in my head. soo yeah i'm going to sleep now.

So today it was like 90 degrees out which is the hottest (at least it seems) it's been all summer!
on days like these i wish i had a pool.
although my brother's girlfriend invited me and my youngest brother over to go swimming whenever we want. of course i dont' see that happening any time soon considering i am leaving soon and i work until she goes to work.
anyways i went to see G.I. Joe today.
I have this complete love for Channing Tatum, what can i say he impresses me in every movie he's in

anyways i just got invited to a birthday party on facebook. it's not until next weekend but it was weird since i don't even talk to the person and i got invited by someone i dont' really talk to either. so yeah i'm going to go with i'm not going to the party lol. i think i prefer to decorate eggs with my best friend heck yes. hahaha.

so yeah i also balanced my check book. i was a dollar and like thirty cents or something and i couldn't figure out why. it took me like two hours, how sad is that? lol but i figured it out in the end! so it's all good now!
my mom just told me this kid who i graduated with dad died on friday. i feel really bad for the kid, i mean not having a dad :(

so i woke up, got paid! wooo. i love payday. went to work. it wasn't too bad until something happened to the system. and i almost had a heart attack because i thought the one thing erased everything i did. which shouldn't ever happen. ever. but it has happened to the lady i work with. how scary is that. i'm pretty sure i would have cried. true story.
anyways then i came home. and now i'm trying to clean my room, sort of.
oh my gosh. my brother is listening to burnin' up in his room. while he is cleaning. this is shocking. well i guess not as shocking as him asking me to send him Lovebug for his ringtone.

ohh i just remembered what i was going to tell you. so my nails are painted black, just because i can, and last night my dad asked me if i was going goth. i was like what? and he was like are you going goth on us? i was like hahhaha no.
so yeah story of the day.
anddddddddddd the smile of the day happened at work:
so i was at work. and in order for you to comprehend this story i need to tell you another story. so first story. last week i was at work eating jello with a fork because i forgot a spoon at home, i could have easily walked into the kitchen at work and gotten a spoon but who does that. seriously?
(hmm on a sidenote my brother just got a phonecall and told the person to just come inside. weird.)
anyways so this one guy at work calls me a slacker cause he likes making fun of me. and honestly he's more of a slacker than me which is why he calls me a slacker. so the system wasn't working which is why i was eating my lunch and he came downstairs to tell me the system was back up and he was like you can't eat that here let me take that. and then he saw my fork. and i had it kind of facing down like i would stab him with it if he took my jello. oh and it was a metal fork lol. and i really would not have stabbed him with the fork. it just seemed that way. which brings us to the story from today.
so i was keying in the area i key in lol. and the lady i work with came back with her lunch and the plastic fork she got from subway was stuck in the end you know where they press the plastic together so that the fork doesn't fall out? yeah it was stuck in there. and honestly it would only happen to her, she has the worst luck ever. so she got a metal fork and she was coming back with it and the guy from the above story told her to not let me have the fork cause he was afraid what i would do with it.
i was like hahah seriously? so sad.
but yeah that was basically my smile of the day :)
besides the nice weather, ignoring the rain that is.
well i gotta get back to cleaning. and blasting jonas. since my brother is no longer listening to jonas it's some rap song. and his girlfriend was the one at the door. blah.

yup favorite poem of all time. it's just so great. idk i first read it in middle school and for some reason it really spoke to me then, and since then i kind of forgot about it until i was like oh i need a poem for poetry class and this one popped into my head. :)
