Airplane Pull

totally rocked!
well okay i'll just write the whole thing of what we did
so first of all i have never really been to the airport where it was at and i kind of actually thought my mom would drive me there but at the last second she was not ready to go (in fact she was still in her PJ's) so i had to go.
Thank goodness for Bertha!
so i was driving around not really knowing where i was. but thankfully bertha got me to where i needed to be!
I was late.. lol
and i parked in this parking lot and the crossing police guard was like you can't park there if you are here for this event
i was like umm fine.
so then i had to park in the specified parking lot, and i made a parking spot for myself and i saw someone leave so i ran back to my car and pulled into that parking spot..cause i'm lame lol
so then i walked really fast to where i saw the people who were on my team were waiting. turns out they were with the other team who was also there for the person i was on the team with.
okay that pry didn't make sense
so there was one team for where i work, with Linda
and Linda also works at Curves so she had a team going there too.

anyways so then i couldn't really find anyone i knew and i was kind of wandering around lost.. but then i finally found someone i knew and we talked and then we went in and watched other people pull planes and then our team got weighed
and we were above 3,000 pounds !!! ahhaha
then we got our picture taken by this ancient looking dude who took like ten minutes to figure out how to use the camera. lol

so we got our group photo and went and hung out again and then finally it was our turn to pull a real sized Fed Ex Plane.
so we got gloves out of the box, which happened to be soaking wet and cold, because it had rained like all morning, until our turn to pull the plane! haha
so then we went and grabbed the rope all twenty some of us and got set up and then pulled the plane! yay!
it was really hard at first to get it to move but once it started to move it was easy gliding! lol. we pulled it the distance we had to go. and we did it in like 8 and a bit seconds. so with that pull we were two one hundreths of a second away from second place!!! yeah. so then our other team pulled, and then it was our turn again. and that time we did horribly! lol we all totally think that the pilot had the brakes on as a joke and then let them out and we pulled! i mean it took us thirty seconds the second time! how bad is that?!??!
so we totally were horrible the second time lol
oh well at least i got two shirts out of the deal! and it was really fun! and i could totally feel the adrenaline rush! i think i would so love to do it again.
except next year i plan on videoing it for youtube baby! ahhaha
