of Twilight
today my mom looked at some pins i bought and she was like OH YOU LIKE HIM
as in Rob Pattinson (aka Edward Cullen lol) and i was like uh what i like all of them. the books are amazing. and she was like okay
so you like vampires?
i was like uh yeah I LOVE VAMPIRES AND WEREWOLVES
and my mom was like umm what? do you believe in them
i was like mom they are awesome. and these books are so cool
you wouldn't understand unless you read them.
and she was like uh no thanks
and i was like seriously mom READ THEM.
and she was like maybe later.
which means never. haha
but honestly she won't ever understand unless she reads the books,
same with Harry Potter she never understood why i actually cried when the people died in the books.
i mean people dont' understand how even though they are just characters in a book over time you sort of get attached to them, like they are your best friends or family of sorts
Like they know things about you and you know things about them.
even though they aren't real. it's just the way it is.
you know what i mean?
maybe not maybe i'm just way weird about my books.
did you know that books really are one of the greatest things ever invented
I mean really and people who actually write worthwhile stories (J.K. Rowling, Stephenie Meyer) yeah they rock at life. and deserve a medal.
i mean they help girls, (and boys?) escape into this alternate reality where your life can be anything you want it to be. I mean hello right now while i read Eclipse i can totally picture myself as Bella, maybe not as dangerous i mean i trip over invisible things, but she is way more accident prone than me! lol but still i can see myself finding Edward Cullen and falling for him, like i've never fallen before.
and then he leaves and i'm horribly heartbroken and Jacob my bff totally helps me through it. truth be told idk if i would have been so forgiving to Edward though . i mean it was like two seconds and she was like i love you the end.
i was like uh woah girl woah. he like left you heartbroken in the forest and you couldn't even function for like months and now everything is A-OKAY? yeah i don't think so. but maybe i'm just cynical, or maybe i hate all guys on earth, because that's what my mom thinks
she seems to think that she's made me into this man-hating person.
it's not true. i love guys.

okay i'm not really sure how this ended up from talking about my mom and vampires to the fictional characters i find attrative lol
