okay so i totally just read this article about Camp Rock and it made me laugh out loud. for serious
i am just going to copy and paste it so for all you people to know i DID NOT write it :)

Are you ready to Rock?

The Disney Channel folks sure hope so.

Clearly, the House of Mouse hopes Camp Rock, it's new original movie starring the wildly popular pop band the Jonas Brothers, will become the next High School Musical. The movie debuts Friday (8 p.m.) on the Disney Channel and will also air Saturday (8 p.m.) on ABC and Sunday on ABC Family (also at 8 p.m.).

And it case you're scheduled to be chained in a cage with no access to your television over those three days, you'll get yet another chance to watch when Camp Rock premieres on Disney.com on Monday.

Here are five reasons why Disney knows you'll tune in at least one of those nights.

1. The Jonas Brothers are in it: Is an explanation really necessary? OK, those platinum-certified Jersey boys are cute. They have nice hair. They can sing. They have no known criminal record. They wear purity rings as symbols to remain virgins until marriage, for crying out loud! Should I go on? 'Cause, I can.

2. The catchy songs: Disney Channel suits want millions of tweens bobbing their heads and tapping their feet long after Camp Rock's end credits finish rolling. With such tunes as the girl power ditty Who Will I Be? to the rock-inspired Play My Music, odds are good they will be.

3. The sweet life lessons: Not only will you see ridiculously cute kids and hear cool (and a few sappy) songs, you'll also learn the importance of being true to yourself, following your dreams and why it's so uncool to be a diva.

4. Demi Lovato's megawatt smile: It's pretty. Real Marie Osmond-ish. She's the true star of the movie.

5. The Jonas Brothers are in it: They're cute. They have nice hair. Oh, just read No. 1 again
