So my bronze bowl is on it's way to being casted!!!! yeahhhH! i'm so excited! i finished carving it yesterday. haha. the inside is going to have a really interesting texture but i'm excited :)
so now i have to dip it in this stuff called "slurry" then roll it around in sand and build up what looks like a cast around it, so that the iron casting can be done. it's going to be pretty awesome. i can't wait :)
i already have four coats of the stuff on and we have to do ten. so i should be able to get it casted by like monday!!!! yay! and that's kind of what my teacher wanted too. so happy.
oh and when i was going in there to start putting the slurry on, Chad was in there.
and i was like oh my gosh it's just me and Chad.
and i was kind of freaking out
since Chad was glazing more of his stuff.
so then when i was getting ready to leave...
i TALKED TO HIM!
AHHA.
i was like "so you won yesterday right?"
and he was like "oh yeah for ceramics me and another person tied."
i was like "yeah i really liked your stuff."
and he was like "oh well thank you."
then i was like "well bye."
and left. ahha.
and he sort of laughed and was like "bye"

it was an improvement of course.
and since i went back in like four times and he was there three out of the four times. he was pry like what is going on hah.
and one time my friend was with me and she went to the bathroom and when she came back she didnt know where i was so she asked him. and then i like walked into the room and iw as like Kristin! cause she was going the other way and Chad was laughing.
sigh he's so adorable.
yeah. :)
so i just wanted to tell you all about that.
need to get ready for class now and do another layer of slurry. haha.
