PM TRAINING DAY AT FLYING LEAP!

soo funny story.
after i wrote about chad yesterday, i went to lunch. by myself.
and well normally i go with my friends but i figured it would be quicker to go alone and then i could work on my paper.
wellllllllll
i was sitting at my table and i looked over and i was like woah Chad is on the other side of the balcony. that's weird. because it's a weekend and normally he isn't there over the weekends.
i know it's weird that i figured that out.
but anyways so i was like WEIRD.
and then i noticed that he was like looking at me and he almost walked into his friend who was walking in front of him because he wasn't paying attention...haha
anyways so then i was like hmm cool he'll pry just leave.
then he came into the cafeteria and sat with his friend in the area i was eating and walked by me twice, once to get his food and once with his food.
i was pretty much freaking out.
luckily there was a family there blocking my view of him from where i was sitting.
i know you pry are like luckilY? what. but it was luckily because if he saw me i pry wouldn't have been able to eat. since i was pretty much freaking out a lot...
anyways the family left eventually. which is when i decided to leave..
ahah. i know it's lame of me but i couldn't handle that at that moment. plus his friend was with him. maybe if he was alone i would have like smiled at him...
uh yup.
ha.
so i went to the library and threw my life away into my greek paper for like four hours. then at five had peer mentor training group bonding again. we painted the back of our ugly shirts. and then went to dinner. it was actually pretty fun. we did dinner for like an hour and we asked like all these weird questions to get to know each other better. it wasn't bad at all. and well i sort of liked my group then. even though only six people were there. including me haha.
so then after dinner i went with Kate, Steve and John to see Youth In Revolt.
it was pretty much what i expected. and i didn't really like it. not that surprised. i'm not a big fan of movies like that. with all that sex humor. in fact i kind of hate it. but whatever.
and well truthfully i don't even really like michael cera. he looks like he is virtually 15. even though he's 21. ha.
so after the movie. came back to my apartment. finished my paper. went to bed by 12.
didn't fall asleep for a long time.
finally slept.
got up today at 8.
went to breakfast with my group at 9. everyone was there :) and it was fun.
i know i said i wasn't excited but it ended up being awesome.
everyone was pretty awesome.
we painted our hair yellow. did face paint. had fake batman capes. (made of tableclothes)
because we were team yellow.
and my trainer LOVES Batman. he has a batman symbol tattoo apparently.
so we all had fake batman tattoos too. except him. since he has a real one lol.
then it was time to go to Flying Leap.
first of all our bus driver was awesome HAHAHA
we like went around the bus and said our names/year in school/what liquid you would bathe in... (i know it's weird but it was my bff tom who came up with it so i'm not at all surprised haha).
then we did stripper names.
which is your first pet name and street name. mine is pretty lame. but some other people's were hilarious.
one kid never had a pet so he had one name like Madonna.
so great.
and our bus driver played with us. haha.
well we also sort of did like what your middle name is and if you could change your name what would you change it to, while having the same last name. and our bus driver said his last name was coons so he would change his middle name to ra. so his name would be (whatever his first name was. i forget/didn't hear it) Ra Coons.
HA. so the rest of the time everyone called him Racoon. and i think he liked it.
plus he had Lady Gaga playing over his radio/loud speaker system.
hahah
anyway arrived at our destination did team building things. like being on a log and having to arrange ourselves from shortest to tallest without falling off.
we did a really good job and did it pretty fast. we also had to touch eachother a lot. like basically hug eachother. so if that's not team bonding i don't know what is. haha
next we did this thing where there was a square of wood and we all had to get two feet on it. by this time we had 14 people because 2 people from the blue team (which had to disperse) joined our team. so we did that pretty easily too. then there was a smaller square of wood and we had to pretend we were on the roof of a building which was on fire and we all had to fit in the elevator and yell fire three times. lol.
i have no idea what that had to do with anything but we finally figured out the solution and it was pretty cool.
then we did a giant balancing board which our person in charge called her "boat" and we had to call her Captain Donna and ask permission to board. then find a way to keep it balanced. so we finally did that and then we had to switch sides and we did that too.
we were a good team :)
next we did this rope swinging thing and you couldn't touch the ground when you swung from behind the line to the platform and you had to figure out a way to grab the rope which wasn't really in reaching distance.
so we did that and it took awhile for us to figure something out but eventually we did and well it was crazy the boys basically helped the girls climb on the rope then like swung them across even if they weren't technically ready yet.
well at least that's what they did to me. i was like oh my gosh!!!!!
and there was a tall guy on the other side to catch us and help us off it.
haha.
crazy crazy day.
then we had lunch, sat around the fire since it was kind of cold out.
then it was time to do high ropes/a lot of things with heights.
and well i'm bad with heights soo i was sort of freaking out.
i ended up only doing the rock climbing wall which was only 25 ft. and it can easily be stated that at like 12 feet i was panicking. but i climbed to the top and did none of the other things. although i watched everyone else and they all seemed to have a good time.
i would have liked to try other things but i really dont' like heights. i mean i can't even stand roller coasters soo all the other things were not for me. nope not at all.
so then it was four and time to leave.
we made it back to school.
we took a group picture of all the people who are juniors this year and will be seniors next year.
then i ran to my car. came to my apartment. showered super fast and went back to school for church.
luckily all the hair stuff came out. although it seems to have stained my neck and my hands. it's pretty interesting.
ha.
then went to dinner.
talked to sam for awhile since she was at penn state this weekend. came back, finished my homework. and now i need to sleep. it's almost 11 and i wanted to go to sleep by 10:30. i always fail at that though. i'm going to be exhausted tomorrow and probably a little sore from the rock climbing and the rope.
